A few years ago I desperately wanted to loose 10kg. I think most of us always feel that way. Diets just didn't work for me. By the third day I would be so irritated to eat according to a plan and just leave it going back to my old habits. I prayed about it and ask the Lord that he must please help me to loose 10kg without dieting. Just after I joined Annique as a member they, launched the annual Lifestyle Competition. I did not enter because, remember diets don't work for me but I did start eating accordingly, being a consultant I feel that I must use the products.
After a year one day I realized I have lost 10kg without dieting and believe that my prayer was answered. This is how it happened to me. I change the way I think about food. I try to cut out carbohydrates totally so the little bit I did get in make up 2% that my body need anyway. No more white sugar, rice, bread pasta. Concentrate on eating protein fruit and vegetables. Be careful some fruit has lots of sugar so it wont help to eat a lot of grapes for example, granny smith apples is better.
I tend to get hungry if I eat to early in the morning so I only eat when I feel hungry. About 10 in the morning I would take the lifestyle shake. The shake is full of vitamins that your body need, If you have anorexia and you want to gain weight take the shake and eat as well. One of my clients with anorexia took the shake to her doctor whom said that the vitamins was so complete that he could not give a her a better vitamin tablet. Therefore it is important when you want to loose weight to replace at least one meal with the shake for the vitamins. Because I am a bit older my metabolism is slower I took the meta boost daily. During the rest of the day I would only eat if I feel hungry and then something that is not carbohydrates, like yogurt or handful of biltong.
In the evenings I prepare meat and salads / vegetables. The vegetables I prepared the same way as always. Mondays usually pumpkin with sugar and butter and a natural salad. Tuesdays mixed vegetables cooked with aromat for example. The meat I altered as follows: Monday Mince Tuesday Pork Wednesday Chicken Thursday Lamb Friday Burgers Saturday Steak Sunday chicken. On Friday evenings we use to eat “Steers Burgers “ and we still did I only eat the burger and not the chips. The bread is bad enough to add the chips would be devastating and till today if we eat fast food I would not eat the chips. I prepared the food as I normally would but never rice of potato with. Fit for life believe that your body cannot digest protein and carbs at the same time. I think by eating this way your body don't have to digest to much different food at once Also for my blood type is is bad to eat red meat but I still did just smaller portions and less.
So my whole family eat this way without feeling that we are on a diet and today it is there lifestyle as well. I never said no to a piece of cake. If it is your birthday I would eat cake with you but that evening I would prepare pork and pineapple. I think that is the reason it took me a year to loose the 10kg. If I had be more strict I would have loose it sooner but because I am still on the lifestyle I have not gained the weight again it is now 10 years.
